Women's Health Check
Women's health when it comes to breast cancer awareness and the importance of having regular pap smear tests is very good. However, women tend to put themselves last whilst taking care of everyone else; hence often neglecting themselves.
Women are more inclined to have regular checkups and go to the doctor when they take their children, but there remains the misconception that cancer is the biggest killer of women, when in fact it is heart disease.
To stay healthy it's important women maintain a healthy diet, keep active, cease smoking and drink in moderation, practise safe sex and have a good GP who they trust, and with whom they have an annual health check.
Women’s Health Check may include the following:
- Whole body check including ‘Height & Weight’ Check
- Pap Smear Tests
- Breast Examinations
- Cholesterol Tests
- Blood & Urine Tests
