Our History
High Street Medical Clinic has been providing quality medical care to the people of Prahran and surrounding communities for over 50 years.
Established in 1962, Dr Leon Carp who founded the practice became known in the Prahran area as a dedicated, caring, reliable GP who delivered best in breed service to his patients. Building on this foundation, High Street Medical Clinic today, is a trusted vibrant medical clinic with an outstanding team of doctors, nurses and administration staff, where the patient focus is always the number one priority.
In adopting new technology, new processes, the best health practices, and an ongoing dedication to patients of all cultures and backgrounds, the people of Prahran know they have a clinic guided by their health and wellbeing.
